Obey the Rules and Regulations directed at foreign students of Shanxi University of TCM. 1 入学与注册 Registration 1. 经我院录取的学生，必须持《JW202 表》以及《录取通知书》 、护照等有关证件，在规定 的注册日期内到国际教育中心留学生管理办公室报到。不能按时报到者，应提前向学院说 明原因，经批准后，可适当延长报到时间，未经同意，逾期两周不报到者，作自动放弃入 学资格处理。 1. New overseas students should register at the International Student Office of International Education Center within the fixed period of time. Overseas students should submit the Admission Notice, passport, and JW201 Form. The Overseas students who cannot register on time should state the reason to college beforehand. Register time can be postponed mildly after permission. Without permission, overseas students who cannot register within 2 weeks will be regarded as giving up enrollment by themselves. 2. 新生报到时，应提供有效身份证明（护照或通行证）及正面两村免冠照片八张。 2. Overseas students should submit passport and eight passport photos. 3. 新生到校后需到卫生检疫部门进行体检，费用自理，不符合健康标准者，取消其入学资 格，并应立即离校。 3．Overseas students should go through the medical examination after registration and pay by themselves. A student whose health does not meet the requirements of the examination must leave China at once. 4.报到后七天内，应按规定交齐各项费用。逾期不交者，按学院有关规定处理（加收滞纳 金） 。 4. Overseas students must pay all the fees within seven days after registration. If they cannot pay off all the fees in time, College will deal according to regulations (get more demurrage). 5. 入境 30 天内应到公安部门办理居留手续，逾期不办者，将受到公安部门处罚，其后果学 生自负。 5. The overseas students who enter China should apply for a residence permit with valid credentials within thirty days. Disobeyers will be punished by police and bear responsibility for themselves. 2 6. 报到一周内应接受学院安排的入学教育。 6. Overseas students are required to attend the orientation which will give general information 7. 每学期开学，必须按时返校并在留学生管理办公室办理注册手续，因故不能如期注册者， 必须履行请假手续，否则以旷课论；逾期两周不注册者，按自动退学处理。 7. Returning overseas students must register at the International Student Office within the predefined period each term. Overseas students who cannot return on time must ask for permission in advance. Those cannot register within two weeks will be regarded as giving up school. 3 考勤与纪律 Class Attendance 1. 学生应该按时参加教学计划规定的一切教学活动，严格遵守课堂纪律，不得迟到、早退、 无故缺席。 1. Overseas students must study all the courses conscientiously and complete all the assignments. They should observe class rules, attend classes on time. They must not be late for school, leave class ahead of time, or cut classes. 2. 因故不能上课或参加学校组织的活动，必须办理请假手续。请假一天以内，应提前向留 学生管理办公室请假，请假超过一周者，由留学生办公室报院长批准。病假须附医院诊断书。 每学期请假时间累计不得超过四周。 2. Overseas students may ask for leave because of personal reasons. The course teacher may approve leave for one day only. The report should be handed in to the International Student Office for leaving more than a week. If overseas students can’t attend the scheduled teaching session due to illness, they should ask for leave in advance with the certificate from the hospital. The total time of leave cannot be more than four weeks each term. 3. 留学生享受我国的节假日及学院的寒、暑假。寒、暑假不得超假，有特殊情况者应提前 请假，但一般不得超过两周。 3. Overseas students enjoy all the Chinese public holidays, as well as summer and winter vacations. The overseas students who cannot return on time must ask for permission of less than 2 weeks’ postponement in advance. 4. 凡未请假或其请假未获批准而缺课者，均以旷课论，并按学院规定给予纪律处分。 4. The overseas students who are absent without approval for leaving or without asking for leave is considered skipping class and will be punished in accordance with regulations. 5. 对无视学校纪律，经常旷课或经常无故迟到、早退、破坏公物、打架斗殴或其他不良行 为者，视情节轻重分别给予相应处分。 5. The overseas students who breach school disciplines often skip class, are late for school, leave class ahead of time, damage public properties, engage in fighting, 4 or have other wrong doings, will be punished according to the seriousness of their case. 6. 上课时间不得会客，不得随便出入教室，如因特殊情况，须经任课老师允许，方可离开 教室。 6. Meeting visitors and going around during class is forbidden. If there is something emergency, students should get teacher’s permission to leave. 7.请假必须本人亲自办理，若因急病或急事，需他人代办时手续同上。 7. Overseas students must ask for leave in person, others could do when there is sudden illness or something urgent. 8.请假期满，要亲自向批准人销假，需延长假期者，应于假满前办理补假手续，延期以旷课 论处。 8. Overseas students have to report back after leave in person when leave expires. If overseas students have to extend the leave, ask for leave in advance, or else, he/she will be punished according to absence regulation. 9.若违反中国法律，将给予开除学籍处分。 9. Overseas students would be expulsed if violating Chinese law. 10 .留学生不得在我国境内进行传教和宗教集会，其他宗教活动必须遵守外国人在我国宗教 活动的相关管理规定。 10. Overseas students must not preach or launch religious assembly in China. If there are other religious activities, overseas students must abide by the relevant rules on religious activities for foreigners in China. 11 留学生在我国境内进行游行，示威，结社等活动，必须遵守相关规定。 11. Overseas students must abide by the rules about overseas students marching, demonstrating and associating and so on. 12 留学生学习期间不得就业，经商和开展经营性活动，但可以从事学校提供的勤工助学工 作。 12. Overseas students must not have jobs, do business or operate and so on, but can be engaged in school work-study jobs. 5 课堂纪律 Class regulation 1. 按时上课、下课，不得无故迟到早退。学生如因故迟到者，应在教室门口喊报告，经教 师允许后方可进入教室，下课后应立即向教师和班干部报告原因,迟到 10 分钟以上者，不 允许进入教室，并作旷课处理。 1. The overseas students should go to and out of class on time and should never be late or out of school early. The overseas students who are late for some reasons should utter “May I come in” at the door of the classroom and should not come in until they get the teachers’ permission. After class, the overseas students should tell the teachers the reasons. The student who is late for more than 10 minutes is not allowed to attending the class, and it would be regarded as being absent. 2. 上课时，学生应精力集中，认真听课。遇有疑问或不懂之处应先记下来，待教师讲授一 段结束或课间休息时，再行发问。学生发问，应先举手，待教师同意后，再起立发问，教 师提问时，学生应起立回答。 2. The overseas students should focus their attention on the study and listen carefully to the teacher in class. If they confused about some parts of the teaching, they may ask the teacher at the break. The overseas students should raise their hands when they have questions. With the teacher’s permission, he may stand up and ask. When the teacher asks questions, the overseas students should stand up and answer. 3. 学生对教师授课有意见，可在课后与教师交谈，或向班干部反映，由班干部向有关部门 汇报。值日生应将意见详细记入“教学周报表”内。 3. The overseas students who have disagreement with the teacher may talk with him after class or tell the monitor who will report it to the department concerned. The overseas students on duty should record it in the teaching report. 4. 上课时不会客，不传接电话，不准穿拖鞋、背心、裤头进入教室。 4. The overseas students shouldn’t meet friends or receive telephones in class. 6 In addition, they shouldn’t enter the classroom when they wear slippers, vests or undershirts. 5. 要爱护公共财物。教室、实验室的各种仪器、设备等均不得任意搬动或损坏。要节约用 水、用电、注意安全。 5. The overseas students should care the public property and pay attention to save water and electricity. Besides, overseas students shouldn’t casually move or damage various equipments, devoice of different classrooms or labs. 6. 保持教室和走廊的整齐清洁。 6. The overseas students should keep the classroom and corridor clean. 7. 学生不得以任何理由擅自调、停课。 7. The overseas students shouldn’t change or quite their courses without permission. 7 学生证、校徽管理办法 The management of the student document and the school pin 为了加强学生证、校徽的管理维护学生证的严肃性，特制定本办法。 In order to strengthen the management of the student document and the school pin, and to protect the seriousness of the student document, so we make this measure. 1. 学生证、校徽是学生的身份证明和标志，学生必须妥善保存。不得遗失、损坏，严禁涂 改和转借他人。 1. The student document and the school pin are the identification and the simple of the student. They should be carefully stored. Don’t make it lose or shatter. Don’t rewrite or lend to others. 2. 新生入学后，由留学生办公室办理学生证和校徽的领取手续，然后发给学生本人。 2. The International Students Office should transact the drawing procedure of the student document and the school pin, and give them out to the overseas students after the enrolment. 3. 学生证、校徽遗失后，学生应及时报告，并写出申请。申请补办。学生在校期间只允许 补办两次。 3. The overseas students should notice the office when the student document and the school pin get lost and apply for a new one. The overseas students have only two chances to transact the student document and the school pin. Please make them in safekeeping. 4.补办学生证、校徽实行收费。学生证首次办理收费拾元，再次补办收费五十元。校徽首次 补办收费五元，再次补办收费拾元。 4. The overseas students should pay for the fee of applying a new student document or school pin. They should pay 10 RMB for the first applying of the student document and 50 RMB for the second time. Applying the school pin for the first time, overseas students need to pay 5 RMB and 10 RMB for the second time. 5. 学生因毕业或退学等原因离校，离校时必须将学生证、校徽交给留学生管理办公室，如 8 有遗失，须缴纳赔偿费。 5. The overseas students should give back the student document and the school pin to the school after graduation or quitting the school. If they got lost, the student should pay the price. 6. 凡持有两个或两个以上学生证、校徽以及涂改、转借、冒用他人证件者，一经发现，立 即没收证件。并视情节轻重，对当事人给予通报批评或纪律处分。 6. Those overseas students, who holding two or more school documents or the school pins, altering the school document and the school pin, using others, lending to others would be published based on the degree of the condition. 7. 学生证撕页作废。 7. The student document would be blanked out if the paper got ripped. 8. 本办法自公布之日起执行。 8. The measure would take act after the proclamation day. 9 缴纳学费、住宿费的规定 The principle of the tuition fee and the fee of accommodation 1. 各类学生应自觉按期缴纳各项费用。 1. The students should pay the fees on time 2. 学历生应在每学期开学的七天内缴齐本学年或本学期的学费，不按时缴费，不予注册。 需缓缴者，应提交书面申请，说明原因，无故缓缴者，需另交 10%滞纳金。一个月内无故 不缴学费者，按劝退处理。 2. The overseas students should pay the fees in 7 days after the term begins. The student can not register if the fees didn’t pay on time. If anybody needs to delay the day of paying the fees, he has to apply for it and notice the reasons. The student who didn’t pay the fees on time has to pay the late fee, which is 10% of the total fee. The student who didn’t pay the fees within one month with no particular reason will be suggested quitting school. 3. 进修生应在入学三天内交清学费，否则不予开课。 3. The advanced study students should pay the fees 3days after the term begins, or the class would be delayed. 4. 凡住宿在留学生公寓内学生应在学期初一次交清，本学期住宿费，不得拖延，凡缓交者 均加收 10%滞纳金。 4. The student who lives in the department has to pay the fee of accommodation in one time. No delaying. Or he would pay the late fee, which is 10% of the total fee. 5. 因结业，休学，退学等原因而提前离校者，宿费可按实际居住月数结算。学费不退，不 转。 5. The accommodation fee would be calculated by month of living if anybody leaves the school ahead in any reason. Tuition fee would not return to students due to above reasons. 6. 海外学生如要求提前毕业，按规定完成全部学业者，学校可予以考虑，但学费应按规定 学制度交纳。 10 6. The overseas students can apply to leave school ahead if he had finished all the courses. However, they had to pay all the fees of the length of schooling. 7. 凡申请来校学习者，均应交 600 元人民币报名费。 7. The student who applies to study in the school has to pay 600RMB sign up fee. 8. 无故不缴纳学费者，将给予开除学籍处分。 8. Overseas students would be dismissed if not paying tuition fees without any reason. 11 成绩考核 Examinations 1. 学生所修读的课程均应参加考试，并结合平时学习情况评定成绩，成绩在 60 分以上为 合格，方可获得该课程的学分，考试成绩记入学生档案。 1. Overseas students must take examinations of all the courses. The final score is composed of the final examination and the performance during the term. The passing score is 60 points. Results will be recorded in overseas students’ document. 2. 必修课考试不合格的课程，应缴费重修,重修费按每门功课 300 元计算 2. Failure of exam will cause them to restudy the course, overseas students must pay for all the additional expenses. Each subject should pay 300RMB 3. 考试作弊的学生，该课成绩以零分计，舞弊课程必须重修。 3. The overseas students must observe the rules of the examination room and must not cheat in the examination. Once cheating is found, the paper is marked Zero. The course must be restudied. 4. 因故不能参加考试，必须事先向留学生管理办公室请假，经批准后可缓考，对无故不参 加考试者以旷考论处，旷考的课程必须重修。 4. During examination week, if a student cannot take exam, with approval of the International Students Office, he/she can take the make-up examination. Those who fail to take the examination will be regarded as skipping examination. Furthermore, they will not be allowed to take the make-up examination and must restudy the course. 12 学生住宿管理规定 Overseas students hostel administration regulation 1. 凡在我院学习的海外学生，由学生办公室统一安排在留学生公寓住宿。 1.The overseas students who study in our college will live in the arranged rooms on campus. 2. 入住留学生公寓后，不得擅自调换，转让或转借，更不得强占空房。 2. After living in dorm, overseas students cannot change, convey rooms without permission and cannot accroach empty rooms. 3. 爱护宿舍各种家具和设备，不得擅自搬走，调换或丢弃。 3. Take care of furniture and facilities, which cannot be changed, dropped and removed inside and outside the rooms without permission. 4. 保持宿舍内的清洁，不得粘贴和污损墙壁，不准饲养动物。 4. Keep the dormitory clean and tidy. Don’t scratch or paste something on walls. Don’t drive in a nail in wall. Pets are not allowed in the dormitory, 5. 维护楼道畅通，楼道内不得摆放电器，鞋柜或其它物品。不准在楼道做饭。 5. Keep the corridor unblocked. Electric facilities, cabinets or something else cannot be put in the corridor. Do not cook in the corridor. 6. 保持宿舍安静，不得大声喧哗，不得酗酒闹事，不准在房间内举办舞会。 6. Keep dormitory quiet. Do not shout. Do not get drunk and engage in fighting. Holding parties in the dormitory without permission is prohibited 7. 注意安全用电和节约用电，不准使用大功率电器，严禁在留学生公寓做饭，一经发现将 没收各种炊具，因用电而造成火灾者，由它本人负全部责任，赔偿全部损失，责任严重者， 由司法部门追究其刑事责任。 7. Save electricity and use it safely. Cannot use big power electric facilities. No cooking is allowed in the hostel. Anyone who violates the rules and cause a loss should bear all the responsibilities and compensate for all the losses incurred. The Overseas students who make big loss will be punished by judiciary. 8.注意保管好个人财物，随时锁好房门，宿舍门，不要存放太多现金。 8. Overseas students should take care of their personal belongings and keep the door 13 locked each time going out. Do not put large numbers of cash in dormitory. 9.未经准许，不得私自留宿客人。 9. Obey regulation for receiving visitors. Overseas students cannot accommodate other persons without approval. 10. 遵守中国法律，禁止嫖娼和赌博，违者交司法部门处理。 10. Any student who solicits a prostitute or gamble will be punished by judiciary. 11.宿舍内设备和设施发生故障和损坏时，应尽早通知管理人员安排维修。人为原因损坏击 破照价赔偿。 11. If equipment and facilities go wrong, please inform managing personnel’s immediately. Those who damage any furniture and facilities should compensate for them at full costs. 12. 遵守作息时间，公寓开门时间为早上 7：00 分，晚上关门时间为 11：00 分，未经允许 不得随意在外留宿。 12. Obey time table for students in hostel. They should go in and out between 7： 00am to 11:00pm.Overseas students cannot live outside without permission. 13.住宿者离宿前，必须结清住宿费，办理退房手续。 13. Before leaving, overseas students should pay off fees of living and go through check out procedure. 14. 以上各项规定必须认真遵守，如有违反者，视情节给予罚款及校纪处分等处罚。 14. Any overseas students breaching the above rules and regulations are liable to the school discipline according to the seriousness of their cases.。 15. 留学生公寓每室住学生两名，如要求一人单住者，应向留学生管理办公室提出申请。在 条件允许情况下，可予以安排。 15. There are two overseas students in each dormitory. If someone wants to live alone, he/she should apply at the Overseas Student Office. If it is permitted, he/she can be arranged. 16.留学生必须在校居住。在校外居住者必须经留学生管理办公室批准并在当地派出所办理 住宿登记。 16. Overseas students must live in school. Living outside must be approved by International Students Office and residents in the local police station to complete 14 registration procedures. 外国留学生违纪处分方法（试行） Disciplinary Measures for Overseas students violating school regulation 对犯有错误的学生学院可视具情节轻重给予批评教育或纪律处分，处分可分为六种： The school may criticise or discipline the overseas students who violate school regulations. The disciplinary measures may be classified into the following six categories: 警告、严重警告、记过、留校察看、劝其退学、开除学籍。 Warning, serious warning, demerit, being inspected, suggested quitting school, being expelled from school. 1、 如犯有打架斗殴、旷课严重、考试作弊等等违纪违章的错误行为者，给予警告、严重警 告、记过等纪律处分。 1. The overseas students who made the mistakes such as fighting with others, often playing truant, cheating in exams will be punished by means of warning, serious warning, demerit etc. 2、 因严重违反学校规章制度而且造成恶劣影响者，经教育后有悔改表现者，给予留校察看 处分。 2. The overseas students who seriously violate school regulations but would correct the mistakes will be kept at school under inspection. 3、如有下列情况之一的留学生，应予以开除学籍的处分： 3. The overseas students who committed the following errors will be expelled from school. （1）违反我国政策法令、触犯我国刑法、构成刑事犯罪者； a) The overseas students who violate Chinese laws and commit crimes; (2) 破坏公物、偷窃国家或私人财产、造成严重损失和危害者； b) The overseas students who damage the public facilities steal national or personal proper ties and cause big losses; （3）酗酒、斗殴情节严重；品行极为恶劣，道德败坏者； c) The overseas students who drink heavily and fight with others; 15 （4）违反校纪校规，情节极为严重者； d) The overseas students who seriously violate school regulations and rules; （5）一学期内旷课超过 50 学时以上者。 e) The overseas students who play truant for 50 periods in one term. 4、警告、严重警告、记过、留校察看的处分，由国际教育中心审批，劝其退学和开除学籍 处分由国际教育中心报分管院长审批，并报省教育厅和公安部门备案。 4. The disciplinary measures of warning, serious warning, demerit and inspection should be approved by International Education Center. The disciplinary measures of suggested quitting school should be approved by the president of Shanxi University of TCM and be recorded by Shanxi Education Bureau and the police department. 5.受纪律处分者，取消奖学金评定资格。 5. Overseas students must not attend the scholarship evaluation because of disciplinary measures. 16 读者进馆须知 Notice of entering the library 1. 读者进馆须出示本院工作证或学生证、阅览证，外单位人员凭单位介绍信进馆。 1. The reader should show the employee’s card, the student document or the library card before entering the reading room. The reader from other units should show the presentation letter before entering the library. 2. 除笔记本和待还图书外的其他物品一律不得带进馆内，不得穿拖鞋进馆。 2. Don’t take any other thing into the library except the note book and the book needed to give back. No slipper could enter into the library. 3. 馆内书刊须办理借阅手续方能携出馆外，需复印的资料只限在本馆复印室复印，严禁在 外复印。 3. The book can only be taken out after all the procedure had be done. The document which need be copied can only be copied in the library. 4. 保持馆内安静、整洁，不大声喧哗、不乱丢纸屑，不随地吐痰，在阅览室和书库内不许 吸烟。 4. Keep the room clean and quiet. Don’t throw rubbish and split on the floor. No smoking in the room. 5. 不得污损书刊资料，不得在桌椅上刻画。 5. Don’t attaint the books and documents. Don’t character on the desks and chairs. 6.严格遵守本馆各项规章制度。 6. Obey the rules of the library. 17
